Built for components that other cabinets struggle with
The Puma XL handles the jobs that expose the limits of a lighter-spec machine: aircraft wheels, engine casings, valve bodies, vacuum pumps. Large, awkward, often contaminated. The cabinet is engineered around them, not around a lower price point.
A workhorse spec, not a starter spec
Where other manufacturers remove features to create an entry price, the Puma XL ships complete. Boron carbide blast nozzle as standard, where competitors charge extra. Abrasive level sight glass so the operator knows the sump state at a glance. Bubble valves for reliable particle separation. Sump immersion heater with thermostat for consistent process conditions. Closed-loop filtration with oil skimmer, handling oily or greasy components without a separate cleaning stage. These are not upgrades. They are the machine.
Why Vapormatt
Vapormatt invented wet blasting. The Puma XL carries that depth in its design: components specified for thousands of hours of use, not hundreds.
- 250kg (551lbs) swing-out turntable: swings outside the cabinet for external loading, removing the need for two operators on heavy components.
- Closed-loop filtration within footprint: oil skimmer and detergent compatibility included. No external filter unit. No drain connection required.
- Full specification as standard: boron carbide nozzle, abrasive sight glass, bubble valves, window wash and wiper, rinse and blow-off nozzles. No options required to make the machine work.
Vapormatt provides global service and aftermarket support, with an extensive stock of spare parts held for Vapormatt and competitor machines.

The Vapormatt Promise: the machine meets the agreed specification, or we make it right.
The bottom line
The Puma XL is specified to run, day after day, without the workarounds that come with a machine built to a price. Every feature is included because every feature is necessary. Choose a machine that is ready from the first shift, and stays ready.
