Machines for wet peening

The fan blades, turbine blades and safety-critical components on the aircraft you fly in are peened on Vapormatt machines. 

Aerospace specifies wet peening where the surface finish, intensity range, or geometric access required cannot be achieved by dry: aerofoil surfaces , non-ferrous and heat-resisting alloy components, and shielded features such as disc fir-tree slots and blade root bores. Wet shot peening hold Almen intensities up to 0.39N and 0.38A.

Every machine in the range is built to hold the process parameters that AMS 2432 governs: nozzle diameter, air pressure, media flow, media concentration, and cycle time.
