When the strength of composite bonds really counts!

Thanks to its strength and lightweight, the use of composite materials is widespread.

Traditional fasteners like bolts add weight and introduce potential areas of weakness, countering the very reason for using composite materials in the first place. That’s why most composite materials are bonded together.

Wet blasting (or Vapor blasting, or Vapour blasting, or Aqua blasting to give the process its other names) perfectly prepares composite surfaces for bonding by creating a clean blemish-free ‘wet out’ surface that ensures maximum adhesive coverage. This in turn ensures maximum bond strength.

Creating a clean blemish-free ‘wet out’ surface has the additional benefit of producing the ideal surface for coatings like paint and lacquer, again ensuring maximum coverage.
