David Clements As Senior Appointment, Wet Blasting, Vapormatt

Vapormatt, leaders in wet blasting technology, is announcing the appointment of a new senior Sales Engineer who is set to build on the company's successes in wire and cable industries. The company says the move is designed to develop the further expand the availability of Vapormatt systems both in the UK and internationally that have been designed to help customers maximise processing efficiency.  

David Clements joins as Sales Engineer with particular responsibility for wire and cable cleaning applications worldwide.  The Brunel University graduate brings with him an extensive engineering background together with management and sale experience both in the UK and, vitally, overseas.  A background of close liaison with agents and manufacturers’ representatives in export markets stands him in good stead, he says, for the exciting opportunities offered by the Vapormatt appointment.  

“I am delighted to be able to help Vapormatt develop worldwide sales of its leading wire cleaning technology,” he says.  “As the originators of the wet blast cleaning concept, the company is in an enviable and highly respected position in the industry and one which I believe will help me seek enthusiastic partners within the wire sector.  A key focus will be on developing business opportunities in countries where we are not currently represented such as South America, Eastern European and parts of Asia.”

David highlights in particular the Vapormatt Profelis which has been proven in numerous installations – both upstream and downstream of wire extrusion processes, and in applications ranging from the manufacture of fibre optic and high voltage power cables to stainless steel, wire and bandsaw blade production.

Vapormatt Sales Director Mick Teague believes these new appointment will not only increase in the world leading position of Vapormatt by having dedicated application led sales engineers in both the wire processing and die cleaning sectors, but also emphasise the organisation’s commitment to ongoing growth and further business development.
