The Vapormatt Profelis automatic wet blasting machine is purpose built for the rapid and thorough cleaning and finishing of wire and cable products.

Vapormatt Profelis wet blasting machine for Wire and Cable

Thanks to its high-performance and unique design the Profelis offers a wide range of advantages for wire and cable manufacturers, including:

✅ 360° Uniform Finishing: Thanks to a unique blast gun manifold with 4 powerful blast guns positioned at 90° angles — or 8 guns at 45° for even greater throughput.

✅ Precision Ra Control: Consistent, reliable surface roughness to exacting tolerances, including Nitinol medical wire to very strict tolerances

✅ Versatile Diameter Range: Processes wire from 1mm (0.04") up to 54mm (2.13") cables.

✅ Seamless In-Line Integration: Unlike pickling and dry blasting, the Profelis works in-line with existing production lines, cutting downtime and boosting efficiency.

✅ Rinsing and Drying: Built-in rinsing and drying removes all blast media and rapidly dries the product.

✅ Media and Water Recycling: An efficient recycling and filtration system reduces water and media consumption, lowers operating costs, and minimises waste.

✅ Environmentally Friendly: The Profelis uses a water / blast media slurry, which eliminates the dust and airborne contaminants common in dry blasting. It also eliminates the harsh chemicals used in prickling. This makes for a cleaner and safer working environment.
