The Vapormatt Profelis was engineered for one of the most unforgiving applications in wire and cable manufacturing: cleaning continuous rotary extrusion feedstock inline, at production speed.

Surface contamination on CRE (Continuous Rotary Extrusion) feedstock doesn't stay on the surface. It becomes part of the product. Getting the rod consistently clean before it enters the wheel is crucial, and it's precisely the problem the Profelis was built to solve.

Processing aluminium and copper rod with 360-degree uniform coverage, the Profelis delivers a clean, activated surface that improves frictional engagement in the wheel groove, supports stable line speeds up to 30 m/min, and allows operators to run lower-grade or outdoor-stored feedstock without compromising extrusion quality. Integrated rinse and dry stages and a closed-loop wet blast slurry system mean the rod exits the machine ready for immediate entry into the extrusion line, with no off-line handling and no risk of re-oxidisation.

For higher-throughput operations, the Profelis supports dual-line configurations with two blast boxes sharing a common slurry feed. A heated rinse tank is available for more demanding surface conditions, and a vacuum drying unit can be added where a drier output is required before the wire enters the line.
