Lots of activity at the CAMX show

Last month Vapormatt exhibited, for the first time, at the CAMX show in California, USA. In the spotlight was the Vapormatt Panther wet blasting machine which was made available to visitors wanting to see how wet blasting can be used for composite preparation.

From the 26th to the 29th of September Vapormatt will be exhibiting at the Composites and advanced materials expo (CAMX) at the Anaheim convention center in Anaheim, California. CAMX is the largest composites and advanced materials event which aims to bring leading associations, companies and academics under one roof to showcase the latest technologies and innovations in composite and advanced materials. 

Innovative Vapormatt wet blasting technology to be unveiled at Farnborough 2016

Vapormatt, the world’s leading manufacturer of advanced wet blasting technology will be unveiling its latest high performance systems, developed specifically for use in the aerospace sector for surface preparation and finishing.   On show will be the company’s Puma wet blasting system, which can be seen in operation preparing a range of aircraft components, including cast, machined and composite parts.

After a busy two days Vapormatt's first show at Advanced Engineering has finished. Comprising of 5 events the show saw thousands of visitors from across all industries attend the show that was held at Birminghams NEC.

Vapormatt wet blast surface preparation process proves a winner at motor racing carbon fibre specialist

Global Technologies Racing Ltd (GTR), the Fontwell, West Sussex, UK, based specialist designer and manufacturer of high specification carbon fibre components for Formula 1, Indycar and other state-of-the-art racing and performance cars, has recently installed its second Vapormatt wet blast machine.

Motor racing technology specialist opts for Vapormatt wet blast machine

RTN (Racing Technology Norfolk) has installed the latest ‘Vapormate 3’ wet abrasive blast cabinet from Vapormatt, for the surface treatment of composite and aluminium structural components used at the leading edge of motor racing technology.  RTN, based at Hingham near Norwich, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Audi AG and has worked closely over the last few years with Le Mans 24-hour racing teams.  The company also provides specialist research and development, design and prototyping services for the VW Group.
