Princess Anne visited Barracuda Live at the Fleet Air Arm Museum earlier this month. It’s a fascinating project to save the only Second World War Fairey Barracuda from extinction.
The team at the Museum are painstakingly rebuilding the torpedo dive bomber from parts salvaged from various crash sites across the UK.
Playing a key role in the project is a Vapormatt Puma wet blasting machine. The Puma allows the team to rapidly clean and restore parts. The process is so effective that parts are restored to ‘as new.’
Visit our Aerospace MRO page and download the case study to read more about this incredible project and to see the stunning results the Puma has been able to achieve.
