Wet blasting (also known as vapour blasting, vapor blasting or aqua blasting) cleans and finishes jewellery and sporting goods delivering a consistent surface texture. In jewellery it removes polishing compound, oxidation, and casting residue from fine details and can create an even satin / matte finish. In sporting goods it cleans parts like bike components or golf clubs and prepares them for anodizing, paint, or powder coat.

Because the abrasive is carried in water, it produces less dust and heat, delivering a smoother, more uniform finish than many dry methods. It’s gentler on edges and delicate features, improves repeatability, and helps coatings bond by creating a controlled surface “key.”
