Wet blasting to make an entrance at MMTS 2016

For the first time Vapormatt, the world’s leading wet blasting company, will be exhibiting at the MMTS show in Montreal. The show which takes place May 16-18th acts as the Launchpad for Vapormatt’s new Puma machine.

Chemical soaking has operator safety, disposal and environmental considerations to address, it can also be a very time consuming process.

With its stainless steel construction the sturdy Puma machine has been designed with ease of use in mind.

Using proven and established wet blasting technology the Puma is a highly versatile machine on an extremely small footprint. The Puma has an envelope of 1150x700x1200mm making it a good size for a range of components.

Additional options such as turntables and wheel arms make it a very usable machine where front loading means it can be placed in small workshops or facilities where space is a premium.

SFM show makes Mexican launch a success

Having recently returned from the SFM show in Mexico it is clear that the demand for aerospace surface treatments is very high. As you can see from the map there is a plethora of aerospace companies setting up facilities in Mexico and this was also clear at the SFM show in February.

Wet blasting versatility demonstrated at GrindTec 2016

Vapormatt, the world’s leading wet blasting company, have recently returned from the GrindTec show in Augsburg, Germany. Over the course of 4 days visitors from Europe and beyond were able to see a range of technologies to help improve their production processes.  

Exhibiting for the 4th time Vapormatt presented the range of wet blasting applications that were available for the manufacturers of cutting tools. This included the preparation of gear cutters and taps to the edge rounding of boring tools and end mills as well as carbide inserts. 

Vapormatt announces new Mexican agent at the SFM show

Vapormatt, the world’s leading wet blasting company, have recently appointed a new Agent in Mexico. MASSFIN Mexico offers surface treatment solutions to aerospace companies in Mexico including vibratory finishing and most recently, wet blasting. To celebrate the new partnership Vapormatt and MASSFIN are co-exhibiting at the Surface Finishing show being held in Queretaro from the 22nd to 24th of February.
